Irish name thing
I see a few people recently were still on the Irish name generator. Well my irish name is Róisín or Róis ingean uí Fhlaithbheartaigh if you want my 10th century Irish name. I plugged Roisin into the Irish name generator and got some other Irish name and though screw that. I will stick to my SCA given name.

Yours is the real McMurphy! :)))) NICE!
Róis is the root name, The -ín is a diminutive and pronounced -een. The root name Róis is pronounced Rose but with a slight diphthong (roh-is but the oh-is is pronounced really fast and together. You can barely hear the i there) Ok now to make things worse the S before an I in gaelic (and in Korean coincidentally) turns into an "sh" sound. Is this convoluted enough for you?
Anyway the whole bloody thing becomes Ro(i)sheen.
